Ever wonder why no one ever came forward from Obama’s past, saying they
knew him, attended school with him, was his friend, etc. ? Not one person
has ever come forward from his past.

VERY, VERY STRANGE… This should really be a cause for great concern. To
those who voted for him, you may have elected an unqualified, 
inexperienced shadow man.

Let’s face it. As insignificant as we all are… someone whom we went to
school with remembers our name or face … someone remembers we were the
clown or the dork or the brain or the quiet one or the bully or something
about us.
 
George Stephanopoulos of ABC News said the same thing during the 2008
campaign. He questions why no one has acknowledged the president was in
their classroom or ate in the same cafeteria or made impromptu speeches
on campus. Stephanopoulos also was a classmate of Obama at Columbia–the
class of 1984. He says he never had a single class with him.
 
While he is such a great orator, why doesn’t anyone in Obama’s college
class remember him? And, why won’t he allow Columbia to release his
records?

Looking for evidence of Obama’s past, Fox News contacted 400 Columbia
University students from the period when Obama claims to have been there,
but none remembered him. For example, Wayne Allyn Root was, like Obama,
a political science major at Columbia, who also graduated in 1983 In
2008, Root says of Obama, “I don’t know a single person at Columbia that
knew him, and they all know me. I don’t have a classmate who ever knew
Barack Obama at Columbia … EVER!
 
Nobody recalls him. Root adds that he was also, like Obama, “Class of ’83
political science, pre-law” and says, “You don’t get more exact or closer
than that. Never met him in my life, don’t know anyone who ever met him.”

At the class reunion, our 20th reunion five years ago, who was asked to
be the speaker of the class? Me. No one ever heard of Barack! And five
years ago, nobody even knew who he was. The guy who writes the class
notes, who’s kind of the, as we say in New York, ‘the macha’ who knows
everybody, has yet to find a person, a human who ever met him.”

Obama’s photograph does not appear in the school’s yearbook, and Obama
consistently declines requests to talk about his years at Columbia ,
provide school records, or provide the name of any former classmates or
friends while at Columbia …
 
NOTE: Root graduated as valedictorian from his high school,
Thornton-Donovan School , then graduated from Columbia University in 1983
as a political science major in the same class in which Barack Hussein
Obama states he was.

The Social Security number he uses now originated in Connecticut where he
is never reported to have lived.
 
No wonder all his records are sealed!
 
Please continue sending this out to everyone. Somewhere, someone had to
know him in school…before he “reorganized” Chicago and burst upon the
scene at the 2004 Democratic Convention and made us swoon with his charm,
poise, and speaking pizzazz.

While it’s true, the dancing was terrible, I thought Bruno’s comments were out of line and that he went too far.  Michael Bolton is one of the only true ‘Stars’ on the show this season and he is a non-dancer.  He came on the show hoping to try something new and expand his horizons a bit, as well as have fun. 

He did not come on the show expecting to be publicly embarassed in front of millions of people, including his mother, who was in the audience.  He was berated to the point that I felt extremely uncomfortable watching and listening to Bruno’s tirade. 

Michael Bolton left the show feeling angry, hurt and embarassed by Bruno’s comments.   While he admitted he had met a bunch of great people and made new friends, he had nothing good to say about the experience.

I think Bruno’s comments will hurt the show in the long run.  They will have a harder time getting real stars to come on the show knowing they risk total and utter humiliation in front of millions of viewers.  They don’t need that and I don’t think many will subject themselves to that possibility.

ABC has stated that Bruno’s job is to comment on the dancing and the remarks he made to Michael Bolton were his opinions and he was only doing his job.  Here is another example of:  Can you do it?  Yes.  Should you do it?  Hell no.  He should slam them on their technique, not on them personally.

I think Bruno and ABC should apologize to Michael Bolton and to the viewers who watch the show, as well as the other contestants.   While Bruno is an important part of the show, he needs to be reigned in a bit.

When I used to vacation in Cancun, on several occasions, I was stopped at roadblocks and asked where I was from, what was my purpose in Mexico, and they had to see my papers (passport and visa).   Talk about profiling!  I’m sure they didn’t ask Mexicans for that information.  I guess they saw the rental car, so they must have been profiling cars, not people…..   right.

Our laws are fair and just and we must demand that our Federal government enforce them.  If they can’t do it, permit the states to do it.  As long as the states are enforcing only federal laws, Obama shouldn’t have any problem with that, right?

I just took a survey on MSNBC’s website.  It is a one question survey basically asking if you are in favor of what Arizona has done about illegal immigration.  Over 94% of the respondents are in favor of Arizona’s new law.

This is a survey that individuals, both pro and con, can access and register their vote.  I find it hard to bellieve that only those in favor are taking the time to vote.  This seems to be such a hot button with everyone regardless of which side of the fence you’re on.  That being said, it appears to me that nearly everyone supports Arizona’s attempts to stop this onslaught of illegals entering our country.  I commend their actions.

Now we move to Texas….  Gov. Perry has come out in opposition to the new law and the city council of Austin has passed a resolution to boycott Arizona until the law is repealed.  Oh yeah, I forgot about Obama calling the new law “misguided”.  It’s only misguided if you are in favor of this country being wide open to illegal entry and our laws being blatantly ignored. 

People – wake up!!  Our country is never going to be safe from attack as long as the borders are wide open.  If you think hard working Mexicans are all that’s coming in, think again!  All border states, both northern and southern, need to take a long hard look at Arizona’s attitude and learn from it.  It’s what the People want!!!

And here we are with a new kind of immigrant who wants the same 
rights and privileges. Only they want to achieve it by playing with a different set of rules, one that includes the entitlement card and a guarantee of being faithful to their mother country.  That’s not what being an American is all about. I believe that the immigrants who landed on Ellis Island in the early 1900′s deserve better than that for all the toil, hard work and sacrifice in raising future generations to create a land that has become a beacon for those legally searching for a better life.  I think they would be appalled that they are being used as an example by those waving foreign country flags.

If thousands of illegals can cross the border whenever they want to and we don’t have the stones to stop them, what’s to stop the illegals wanting to enter this country to kill our citizens?  

We need to be proactive on this issue and try to stop the flow of illegal immigrants into this country from both borders and give the police the tools needed to investigate and detain them.   Stop with the political correctness, trying to get your 15 minutes of fame by saying what the Hollywood liberals want to hear, and let’s get down to the serious business of protecting this great land from criminals who don’t seem to have any respect for our laws.

While everyone involved in the search may be mad and disgusted, holding an opinion of the woman that is not too pleasant, I fail to see any criminal activity involved here.  She had a legal right to go where she wants and when she wants and with whom she wants.  She has a right to vandalize her own car and abandon it. 

If criminal charges are filed against her are the authorities going to file criminal charges against every teenager who runs away?  They definitely create panic with the parents and cause undue searches and investigations.  I don’t think so.

While I share the opinion of the authorities about the actions and character of the “run away mom”, I see no grounds for the filing of criminal or civil charges by the state.

For the most part, the Tea Party Movement is comprised of normal American citizens (voters) who are opposed to what’s happening in Washington D.C. and are organizing in order to have strength at the ballot box.  Anytime you have an political organization, especially opposing the current administration, certain frindge elements will attach themselves.  However, mainstream media should cover the heart and soul of the movement and not concentrate on the fringe groups.

Heidi on the day we got her

It all started Monday evening.  I took my two dachshunds out for a walk.  Within minutes, my sweet little girl, Heidi, jumped into some tall grass, apparently hearing something that she wanted to investigate.  The bad news – we live in drought stricken central Texas.  A second later she yelped and ran out of the grass.  She was in pain and I immediately thought rattlesnake.  I brought her inside and my wife, Cyndi and I looked her over and after moving some fur, discovered a small spot of blood on the top of her head.  We called the vet and he said bring her in, even though it was after hours.  I took her in and he didn’t know if it was a snake bite or not, as we could only find the one blood spot and she wasn’t swelling up.  He kept her and put her on an IV.  The next morning her poor little face was at least 3 times its normal size.  A second fang mark was found.  Definitely a rattlesnake.  She spent the week at the vet clinic getting fluids, steroids and antibiotics.  Cyndi and I went there twice a day to talk to her, pet her, and try to get her to eat some ‘people food’.  Saturday (yesterday) we went to visit and try to get her to eat.  We took her for a walk.  The vet agreed to let her come home for the weekend, but we’d have to bring her back in on Monday morning.  She spent the night in our bed sleeping between us.  She wasn’t interested in eating and didn’t drink much water, but she was with us.  By morning, she was having problems breathing.  It got progressively worse and we were finally able to reach the vet (it was Sunday morning).  We rushed to get ready and jumped in the car and headed that way.  She didn’t make it.  Heidi died on the way. 

This little girl was the best dog I have ever had.  She was so sweet and would let you do anything to her.  She always had a lick and a wag for you, no matter what.  Not a day went by that she didn’t make me smile and laugh.  She did such cute things and always made you feel loved.  I truly loved that dog, as did Cyndi.  I’ve never had the loss of a pet affect me the way this is.  I can’t think about her or look at a picture without tearing up.  I feel such loss right now.  I miss her.  I love her.  There will never be another Heidi.  She was more than just a pet to us; she was our little girl.  Cyndi and I will always love that sweet little girl with all of our hearts.
